Official Avalanche Riders whitepaper (V2.5, published 2022/06/03)

Our vision

Avalanche Riders is a revolutionary Play-To-Earn (P2E) game coming to the Avalanche Blockchain. Our vision is to use the possibilities that NFT and blockchain technology gives us in a much more integrated way than it can be seen right now. In our opinion, much of the P2Es on the market right now are far away from unlocking the full potential this amazing tech provides us with!

In Avalanche Riders we therefore present a variety of unique concepts, be it the minting itself ("Two-Way Minting"), staking, lending and our "Copy Token Contract (CTC)", fairness, and - last but not least - our complex in-game economy which aims at transforming the entire game infrastructure into an open, self-balancing market.

The last we achieve this by having rather complex Tokenomics (which will be broken down to simple examples in the following sections) designed seperately for each of the different metaverse properties and sub-economies and fine-tuned in order to let them work hand in hand among each other (see the sections on metaverse properties and how investing in Slopes, for example, differs entirely from investing in Gyms).

A place for everyone

While developing our P2E, we analyze the motivations of all the different roles involved and carefully designed our concepts in a way they meet almost everyone's desires.

Players can learn new tricks to compete in PvP- and PvE-battles or participate in events for money and prestige among the Riders' community. They can upgrade their Riders by earning our in-game token SKILL or by collecting the sickest gear in the Ski Shops. Once a certain level has been reached, they can start to create and design their own tricks and show them off at events to make themselves a living legend!

Investors on the other hand can buy metaverse property such as Gyms, Ski Shops, Hotels, Lifts and Slopes to power the Riders' infrastructure and earn fees in return. Visionaries and entrepreneurs can combine their properties to event locations and strive for organizing the biggest and most respected events in our metaverse, promote them on social media, invite sponsors and become a Ski Resort tycoon!

Collectors of fine arts will rejoice in our ornately 3D-designed Rider and Gear NFTs, whereas developers can use our open-source game code or the possibilities we provide in our metaverse (like events) to build on our project and transform the Riders' universe in something even bigger!

Note that this is a V2, meaning we're closer to a definite version, but if we have some other cool ideas or things might cause trouble we need to adapt, so further and more detailled information can still be provided in updated versions of this whitepaper.
