# Ski Resorts - Overview

All the thrilling things happening in Avalanche Riders take place in a specific location. Be it competitions and events on lifts and slopes, trades in Ski Shops or training in the Snow Park: **Everything is part of one big metaverse!**

The Avalanche Riders metaverse is subdivided in different Ski Resorts. Each Ski Resort has a village and is surrounded by mountains. **Investors can buy Village Land to build Ski Shops, Gyms and Hotels or buy lifts and slopes on the mountains.** The following subsections will provide a brief overview on all the possibilities in this winter wonderland.
