Gyms (Staking Pools)
Setting up a gym will allow you to earn entrance fees and membership fees from the Riders which train (are staked) at your gym.
What you need to invest:
You will first need to buy Village Land in order to set up a Gym, Ski Shop or Hotel in general.
Once decided to use your Village Land for a Gym, you pay proportional to the size of your Gym. The larger the Gym, the more Riders can be staked. There will be a maximal size a Gym can have in order for there to be a supply-demand equilibrium between those who like to stake and the Gym owners.
What you will earn:
Each Rider staked in your Gym needs to pay an entrance fee the first time they enter your gym. This fee is in POW and Gym owners can decide themselves about its height.
After each staking epoch, you will receive a Membership fee, which is a percentage of the staking rewards the player receive. This fee is in SKILL and Gym owners can decide themselves about how high the percentage will be. The absolute amount of SKILL received depends on the rewards the player receives, which on the other hands depends on the stats and properties of the Rider staked.
Disclaimer: Please note that the word "staking pool" is used here in another way as you may know it from PoS consensus. Here we simply mean a place where NFTs can be staked.
